The fee for my services is $500.
When you hire me as your doula, you will receive:
• One or two prenatal consultations, depending on your preferences, where we will discuss healthy pregnancy, comfort techniques in labor, birth, nutrition, breastfeeding, infant care, or any pregnancy/parenting relating topic you choose. I will provide you with a folder of information and resources to help you make choices about pregnancy, birth, and parenting.
• My attendance at your labor and birth.
I will be on call for you 24 hours a day from 37 weeks until your baby is born. You may call me at any time with questions or concerns, and I will be with you at any point you choose during your labor. I will offer a variety of comfort measures for the laboring mom as well as suggestions for the birth partner, helping to ensure a comfortable environment and labor experience. I will stay with you for approximately 1-2 hours after the baby is born to help establish breastfeeding and ensure that things are going well.
• One to two postpartum visits. During these visits we can talk about the birth, the new baby, and any questions you may have about caring for you new family member. I will be available for phone consultations if you have questions about breastfeeding, cloth diapering, baby's needs, or your own postpartum care.
